The tattooed cardio machine! Matthias started doing CrossFit back home in Bavaria in 2014. After moving to Berlin for his job as an HR Manager, he fell in love with CFM and joined the crew in summer 2020 as a Lv1 coach. Besides long workouts that include running, burpees, doubleunders and all the crazy stuff, he enjoys going to art exhibitions, rock concerts, vegan restaurants or having a nice drink with friends.
Lars was a former Volleyball Player and made it up to North German Team Champion.
He played also in the highest league in Seattle, Washington State. His passion for CrossFit he learned at MyLeo in Berlin. To understand the origin concept of CrossFit, he flew to the U.S to analyse the CrossFit DNA, where he also made his CFL 1 License. After his career as a business entrepreneur with his own company and offices in NYC and Singapore at the age of 40 years, he decided to open up CFM CrossFit Mitte in 2014.
Dirk is known as “Dirkules” in Germanies CrossFit scene. He is responsible for the complete programming at CFM. His favourite food is Avocado Burger. He was one of the very first talents in Berlin and until now follows his passion for Crossfit. Recently he also started working as Business Analyst and has his own Fitness Consultancy and combines two passions in his personality.
Max first became a nurse and studied sport science afterwards. He worked as a sport therapist at the child and adolescent psychiatry Charité Berlin and is now a psychology student.. As a former pole vaulter he loves to perform, practice and teach all the gymnastic movements. He is a coffee lover and his favourite food is potatoes with curd cheese. When he is off duty he enjoys the multicultural and heterogeneous life of Berlin.
Till found CrossFit in 2015 and was instantly hooked. The variety, intensity and great community in CrossFit is why he haven‘t looked back since. As a coach he wants to give back some of the experiences he‘s had since taking his first Basic class. When he‘s not at the gym Till likes to explore new restaurants or bars in berlin and reading a good book. His favorite workout is the hero wod “Nate”.)
